It all began in a small workshop in Vancouver, Canada, where Margaret Lindström — a master seamstress with over 40 years of experience — spent her days perfecting every stitch, every seam, every detail. For Margaret, clothing was never just fabric. It was a promise of quality, a form of care, a legacy.

By her side, her daughter Elina Lindström grew up watching those hands work with precision and love. She learned that shortcuts have no place in true craftsmanship — that every thread matters, every seam tells a story.

From Canada to the World

What started as a local dream in Canada has grown into something much bigger. Today, Nordic Thread is expanding across borders, bringing its philosophy of mindful, premium athleticwear to women around the world who believe that what they wear should feel as good as it looks.
